During my limited time in Pune, I remember the delightful, spicy, crunchy taste of dabeli - a maharashtrian snack that I used to gorge on at the local gaadis....a delicious mix of potato, masalas, peanuts and chutneys in a burger bun....yummy...my mouth was on fire after I had the first bite, but every bite was sooo worth it...hope to catch some more daabeli when I return to Pune in December, but till then....
I found this amazingly simple recepie for daabeli and tried it out last night...turned out to be mucho good..not quite like the original, but close...
I like trying out new, unique dishes so if anyone has more recipes such as these...keep them coming!

Been to the Hot Breads in Woburn? They have the dabeli, and puffs, and indian style pastries! Totally worth the trip.
